A military issue self-inflating mattress. Instructions on the label are as follows:
1. Open the valve fully by turning it anticlockwise.
2. Let air in through the valve until the mattress is fully inflated. This will take around five minutes.
3. After the mattress is fully inflated, turn the valve clockwise to close it completely. This operation must be performed without pressing down on the mattress.
