Very happy with the shemagh, good quality woven cotton, just how it should be, not a cheep copy being falsely advertised like every over site I have tried

Great quality!!!
A great quality scarf. It can be very hit and miss buying one of these on line, most companies are charging way over the odds for nothing more than a printed tea towel. This scarf is 100% woven cotton and the size seems perfect to me. Also the price is more than reasonable.

Quality Will Out
Loads of places sell shemaghs on the net, but the quality is variable. You can't always tell from descriptions or pictures what you're going to get. Fortunately, M&G stock good 'uns .. 100% cotton, woven (not printed) patterning, tassels (not silly great fashion things, and not a plain border liable to loose threads). A couple of inches shorter on a side than some you can get, but this makes you more careful with tying techniques, so not a negative.

I've had on of these for a few years now... gonna get another... it's served in the Desert, and camping in North Wales, as well as just a warm scarf to wear about town...

Shemagh Scarf Olive
The scarf is fantastic for many things, I originally brought it for winter field training but found out it's great for cam & con, first aid and training. It is a great all round item with so many perks. I am sure I will find more uses for this scarf.

101 uses and beyond
The shemagh has so many uses that it would be impossible to list them all. Its main use is to cover the exposed face and neck in cold temperatures and provide protection from wind. Conversely it can also be used in hot temperatures to cool the face and neck, after being soaked in water. Its other uses survival uses are extensive, it can be used as a bandage, sling, water filter (in extreme circumstances), towel, short rope, carrying pouch - The list is endless and possibilities are left to the imagination.
New shemaghs are prone to the dye bleeding, especially the olive ones. This is by no means a defect. To avoid the dye getting on your skin and clothing, I recommend filling a bucket of water and leaving your shemagh in there for 30 minutes. You'll see the dye change the colour of the water. Repeat this step until the water is clear. Don't worry, your shemagh will not lose its colour.
A piece of kit I would never be without. A use in every climate and circumstance.
