The Stabsafe Stab Vest can be used to help protect from knives, bottles, needles, batons, kicks, punches, stones and most physically propelled objects. Ideal for door persons, security personnel or anyone working in a potentially threatening environment.
Uses 6 hard fibreglass plates and consists of 1 solid front plate, foam backed and rubber piped; 1 solid back plate, foam backed and rubber piped; and 4 lower side plates. All plates are contained in a polycotton cover that has pockets for each individual plate, keeping all plates firmly in position once the vest is correctly adjusted. The 4 lower plates overlap to allow for full waist adjustment and the Velcro shoulder straps allow for full height adjustment. These straps should be trimmed once the vest is correctly adjusted.
Plates are made to exacting standards and have been tested at Cranfield University and The Royal Military College of Science using levels set by the PSDB and has achieved level KR1.
