Not a good pair of boots
Had these boots for 3 weeks and both boots have now got splits in the middle of the soles so my feet get soaking wet I'm a security guard in tesco so all I do is walk and stand I did expect more from these boots and warn everyone not to buy
Pros: Ankle support , Comfort
Cons: Not waterproof, Don't last long , Soles split very easy

Expectations too high?
I purchesd my 1st pair of these boots on the 10th May 2013 & after six months use they were shot and leaking in the heel area, so I purchsed another pair on the 8th Nov 2013 only because they are the comfiest boots i've used for work so far and they easily
bed in, but these second pair are now leaking in the same place (right heel) and i have only worn them for 3 months. I work mainly indoors & sometimes walk to work. I won't be buying another pair any time soon, but i would & should expect more than 3 months wear.
Pros: Very comfy and light weight.
Cons: Absolute naff for work.

Very Good
Bought them the other day and they fit like a charm, I have been wearing them today and they didn't even need breaking in they feel as if they have been designed to be comfortable from day one of use. I aim to use them for drill and they certainly are outstandingly comfortable when walking in so I look forwards to putting them to good use. The fact they were at a reasonable price as well is astonishing as you would expect boots of this standard at greater prices.
Pros: Don't rub heals, Snug fit, Very Water resistant, Amazing Value, Ankle support
Cons: none

Great boots
Bought a pair of these as didn't want to pay the silly prices some boots command. I have to say they were comfy from the moment I put them on and didn't need any breaking in. I've worn mine while walking the dog, out on site and general wear. Very impressed so far.
Pros: Style looks good, Comfy, Great price

Cons: Not good to polish, Not waterproof, Leather craked

My boots of choice
I've just bought my second pair of these boots, and i wore my first pair pretty much constantly for a year. they were nice n warm during the winter months but not too warm during the ssummer , i think the balance is just about right. As for comfort, i think they are bang on. There are much more expensive boots out there and i guess you get what you pay for but i for one am very happy with my purchaes.

Overall Not Impressed
I was a little aprehensive about trying an army type boot for the first time, but have to say they are one of the most comfortable bit of footware I have ever tried and given the price, expected them to last a good 8-12months. However after walking for 20mins to work & back each day, after 2months the tread is all but gone and both heels turned mushy then holes appeared. Although did not suffer from blisters the lining rubbed holes in all my socks. When I returned them, I was told you get what you pay for, he was dead right.
Pros: Smart Apperance, Waterproof, Secure Lacing, Suportive Ankle, Very Comfortable
Cons: None Durable Sole, Flimsy Heel, Rough Heel Lining

Save your money
I originally bought these boots because I liked the support given by combat highs and thought they might be a lightweight alternative to my Danner Gortex for bushcraft and dog walking. Unfortunately within 3 wears one of the eyelets fell out and the material ripped. After the shop swapped for another pair I thought I was onto a winner the boots themselves are quite comfortable from the get go, then I wore them after rain. Just walking through wet grass my feet got soaked, the insoles felt like they'd sunk and have had to be replaced, I honestly didn't expect it to the point I went home and changed boots then walked exactly the same route wearing my Danner's which kept me dry and toasty.
Pros: Cheap, Initially comfortable, Lightweight,
Cons: Poorly made, Not water resistant
Sizing: Feels about right

A great Gig boot
A really good price for comfy, hardwearing boots which are just perfect for gigs and festivals (although I'm sure they are great for other occasions too!). I have several problems with my feet, and finding boots that are comfortable is a nightmare, but these are perfect.
Pros: Good price, Very comfortable, Sturdy and hardwearing
Cons: Backs need breaking in slightly

Excellent value
I'm tough on boots because of riding a bike - the instep and sole on the left foot always wears through from repeatedly changing gears. Not the Thinsulate patrol boots! They have stayed tough and sturdy over a good six months use. They show very, very little sign of wear and I can probably get another six months wear out of them
I wasn't expecting much for the price, but like I say, I make tough demands on boots and have tried boots from £10 to £100 - all ended up in the bin after three months wear. I love these boots and will buy them again and again. I always recommend them to fellow bikers as being tougher than bike boots.
Pros: Great value, Comfortable, Tough, Durable
Cons: None!
Sizing: Feels about right

Great boots but with limits
Bought a pair of these for my Son to use at cadets. Initially thought they were excellent, light weight & very comfy but once they did a river exercise & they got a proper dunking, then the leather became very weak and came away from the toecap. Overall, a good boot but not if you regularly get them soaked.
Pros: Lightweight & comfy
Cons: Will not take repeated dunkings

Great boots
I wanted a pair of boots for work, but didn't want anything too heavy. The guys at meanandgreen recommended these as a lightweight alternative to some of the other combat boots they sell. They were also cheaper! I wear them every day and I find them to be very comfortable. Mine have shined up quite well too, I use parade gloss on mine as i find it brings them up well.
Pros: Good value, Comfortable, Easy to shine, Lightweight
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels large

Fantastic boots.
I bought these boots to replace my old ones (general issue) and think that they are a very good boot. They're still being worn in, but they haven't rubbed nearly as much as my old ones did. The fabric looks like it will be difficult to clean, but I haven't been in that position. They haven't shined much yet, and are quite tricky to do up exactly how I would like, but they are incredibly supportive and comfortable. Definitely to be recommended.
Pros: Tough, Long-lasting, Supportive, Comfortable, Warm
Cons: Difficult to do up, Might be difficult to clean, Soles felt too thick at first
