Pretty good.
I needed new waterproofs for a physical outdoor job and wanted something lightweight so they'd pack up small when I didn't need them and wouldn't cause me to overheat as I'm a sweaty b*st*rd. I wore these with shorts underneath and they kept me dry and comfortable working 3 12 hour days in the p*ssing rain.
The elasticated waist is shoddy, one of the keepers on the end of the elastic pinged off on first use. Ah well. Just tied a knot in the end.
The main problem I have with waterproof trousers is them slipping down. The best pair I ever had were, I think Belgian. They had built in braces. These lightweight MTP Gortex trousers were no exception. They slipped down. It's easily solved though. Buy some braces.
The full length leg zips make them easy to get on over work boots. They also act as ventilation and access to your pockets underneath. Unzip 6" from the top & you can access your pockets. Unzip 12"-18" from the bottom to get a bit of ventilation. Then zip them up again when the rain starts again.
These were size large 80/90 Leg/Waist according to the label. I'm 34" Waist 32" leg according to Carhartt. As we all know clothing sizes are variable between manufacturers. I'd pop in to try them on unless you're really sure of your sizes.
Pros: Full length leg zips., Lightweight & Packs up small.
Cons: You look like a d*ck wearing MTP, Elastic waist is useless.
Sizing: Feels about right
Would recommend: Yes
