Q: how much do they weigh (size 7)? I've seen others weigh 2.1KG or 1.7KG. I'd like a lighter boot ideally (although something to be said for rugged/heavier construction!).
A: The weight for the UK 7 is approx 1.940kg
Q: Do the sizes apply to both male and female boot size? Would the boots accomodate my wife's size 7 lady?
A: Yes they are unisex sizes, but are large fitting.

A favorite purchase of this year
Great wellington boots. Quality seems very high, making these a great bargain. Made in Portugal. The rubber is soft and comfy, and odorless. Sizing seems right on normal to me, certainly not big.

Good for festivals
I bought these for a festival i recently went to as it always rains and is always muddy so these was perfect to keep our feet dry n clean.
