I love this! A lot of the time in the UK when it's coldest, it's brightest. The peak on this cap keeps the sun out of my eyes while the cap keeps my head warm.
I love how this cap looks on me. It's quite distinctive and militaristic-looking. I know that it looks good and functions extremely well so i don't mind the many stares I get when I am wearing this.

Great hat after a wash.
Smelled strongly of damp at first, but the smell went away completely in the washing machine. Great hat!

French Coldweather cap
These are excellent hats for the money. They are extremely warm and comfortable despite being much lighter and more streamline than a Ushanka. They are also very hard wearing and there's about 8 different ways of wearing them should you feel the need. I have machines washed mine many times and are completely fine. The sizes seem slightly small. I measured my head as a 56/57 cm but had to get a 58 cm, although its more likely that I measure it wrong!
Pros: Not too thick, Light, Comfortable, Very warm (but not overly warm)
Cons: Sizes seem slightly small.
