A: Just the lower half of the tongue is sewn with the additional fabric making it bellows.
Q: Are the rubber soils spongy
A: No, they give just very slightly when pressed.
Q: Are the toe caps reinforced?
A: No, they're just standard toe caps.
Q: How solid are the bottom of the boots
A: The soles are pretty solid and measure just under 1cm in depth.

A welcome change
Having defaulted to German para boots for over 30 years, but experienced lots of difficulties with their soles recently (as well as uncertain supply), I thought I would try a pair of brand new boots for a change. A week in, and I am very pleased, though I had to learn how to wear them: I found that I had to tighten the laces once round the back, because the tops would chafe if they were too loose; and to make them easy to take on and off, it is worth taking the extra 10 seconds to loosen the laces down to the 4th eyelet. I just hope those “non-metal” (plastic) eyelets stay the distance.

Excellent boots and Excellent delivery
Ordered these boots on Monday afternoon and they arrived on the Tuesday morning. The boots are very Comfortable, seem very durable and surprisingly lightweight. Very happy with these and highly recommended! Excellent value for money.
