Great jacket for bad weather
The jacket has kept me dry with some of the wet weather we have had. It is very comfy and will be great for when I am hiking in Wales
The jacket is also quite light, meaning I can carry it around with ease. The delivery service was very good,as it was here in a few days.
Great purchase overall.

Great jacket
I walk to and from work each day and I bought one of these as I'm fed up of carrying an umbrella. Have to say I'm pretty impressed as I'm bone dry when I get to work even when it's pouring down. I went for a black one and found the sizing pretty good. I like how you can stow away the hood when not in use too.
Pros: Doesn't rustle too much, Hood stows away, Waterproof, Comfy , Good price
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels about right

Is it Waterproof?
Bought this for Metal Detecting use. Reasonably well made and XL sizing was correct for me. However, I was out in steady drizzle for a few hours and noticed I was getting wet under the jacket. The rain was actually seeping through the material once it had become saturated. So, ok for showers but not prolonged use in rain.
Pros: Value for money, Accurate sizing, Comfortable
Cons: No lining, Not Waterproof long-term
Sizing: Feels about right
Would recommend: No

A good Jacket
I wore this out in the rain and was completely dry, i did find however it was really warm to wear and found myself sweating a bit. The only drawback for me was firstly the size xl is on the small side, i have other jackets ie Berghause alpha ect and they are much more roomy for the same size. It does feel like you are getting a much more sturdy jacket than others of a branded variety which is good, however it does feel a bit rigid on you when you bend down the material feels stiff, i am hoping it will loosen up. The lenght of the jacket could do with being a few inches longer. On the whole a great jacket for the money that definatly feels like it willl last and be a lot tougher than my Berghause so i am very pleased.
Pros: Good value for money, Feels durable and hard wearing
Cons: Small for an xl, Stiff feel material, Lenght of coat short
Sizing: Feels small

Great Quality and Excellent Value
This is a high quality jacket for a very reasonable price.
The size guidelines are very accurate. I am 42" chest size and the Large size allows me the option of wearing it over a fleece. It feels light but sturdy and I particularly like the zipped under-arm ventilation seams.
I am very pleased with my purchase and I am happy to recommend it.
Pros: Excellent features, Light, Sturdy
Cons: None so far
Sizing: Feels about right

It doesn't rain when I wear it !
I needed a fairly lightweight jacket that is waterproof and which does not sweat me too much inside. I use the jacket for hunting and for that purpose I do find it to be a bit "rustly" when I move.
I have no complaints other than that and the fact that it never seems to rain when I wear it !
Pros: Not ultra expensive, Non sweaty, Lightweight
Cons: A bit
Sizing: Feels about right

Stay dry
I am a scaffolder so always out in the rain, bought this jacket to try out as tried lots before hand and all turned out rubbish. First time worn in heavy rain all day was completly dry, rain ran off me like water off a ducks back thought finally a jacket that works, but the second time worn in heavy rain all day i got wet!!! Do i have to treat jacket after every use??
Pros: none
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels about right

Follow-up by Meanandgreen: Sorry to hear that Gary, there should be no need to treat the jacket at all. It's breathable too so any sweat vapour should have escaped. Is it possible the collar wasn't fastened fully or the zips partially undone? We've not had any other reports like yours about this product and indeed we use these jackets ourselves and have experienced no problems.

Does exactly what it says on the lid!
After much wandering on the internet, I stumbled across a video review on YouTube of this exact waterproof jacket. Exactly what I wanted for a wild camping expedition in "sunny" Scotland. I can promise you that this is as waterproof as any of the top end gear, and for the weight is priceless -
Pros: Well designed zips for inners, Windproof, Large pockets, Lightweight, Waterproof
Cons: Mystery velcro on hood!

The Best Classic Style Waterproof
Hipsters spend a fortune on jackets about as stylish and half as good from places like Oi Polloi. I searched for ages to find something like this. It's as effective as, say, a North Face but reasonably priced and with a simple classic design. It has what you need and nothing more: the right number of pockets, fasteners and adjusters. The green logo-free traditional-cut jacket is waterproof, breathable, lightweight, packs up easily. It can still feel a little sticky on a rainy summer day, just as Gore-Tex is imperfect in this regard too. A small feels large but then not as large as a small Alpha M-65 feels. That's two nit-picks. It's perfect over a Snugpak Softie in the cold. It's overall the best jacket of its kind you'll find.
Pros: Packs away easily, Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof, Simple classic design
Cons: About as breathable as Gore-Tex
Sizing: Feels large

Excellent value for money
I bought the jacket and trouser suit.It is totally waterproof, and has been exposed to continuous heavy Scottish rain, the hood is substantial, and well sized (you can wear a bene hat under it. The jacket is roomy, as are the bottoms, although they are difficult to get on over boots. I often wear a snugpak jacket underneath as an insulating layer and this is comfortable. I'm a 42-44 inch chest and find the large jacket perfect, a 34inch waist with 30 inch inside leg and the medium sized over trouser are great apart from getting them on and off over boots. I have had them a year now and they are pretty manky cos I am afraid to wash them incase I affect the waterproofing, and now the right sleeve of the jacket has sustained a 1 inch tear as a result of some rough play with my German Shepherd Dog. A great jacket, and over trouser suit worth the money.
Pros: Folds compactly, Comfortable, Light weight, Waterproof
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels large

Totally waterproof
I bought a black one of these for when I go hill walking in Scotland. It packs down quite well so I tend to start off the walk with it stowed away inside my rucksack. But, being Scotland, I usually end up needing it before too long! The jacket is quite comfortable to wear, doesn't make too much of an annoying rustle, and most importantly does keep you totally dry.
Pros: Hood folds away in collar, Packs down well, Good waterproof material
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels large
