Q & A's
Q & A's
Q: Are these boots any good in the snow?
A: Yes, as they are fully waterproof.
Q: Do these boots have VIBRAM soles?
A: Yes they do.
Q: Are these for men or women?
A: They are for both men and women.
Q: Is there away to pay for this item weekly?
A: Sorry, no.
Q: Is these boots steel toe capped?
A: No.
Q: I am looking for a pair of boots with these specification but i need them with steel toe caps.
A: We don't have any Lowa boots with a steel toe. The nearest we have is our Grafter Tornado Boot, although that does not have the goretex membrane so is not fully waterproof.
Q: Could you please tell me if it would be better to get a 1/2 size bigger boot to allow for thicker socks or would it be normal to just buy the size that you are?
A: These generally come up a little large as it is expected that they will be worn with thick socks so you should order the size you normally take.
Q: I am looking at a pair of these boots for daily wear. Could you let me know how much they weigh compared to others on the market. I am size 11.
A: One size 11 Mountain boot weighs 1020g.

Best boots I've owned
Since buying these boots at the end of last year I've walked some of the most demanding routes in the UK. I've tried Meindl, Brasher, and Scarpa in the past and these Lowa boots outperformed for grip, comfort and general longetivity. I can't wait to buy another pair! (Although I may be waiting a while for these to wear out)
Pros: Long lasting, Very tough, Excellent grip , Good value
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels about right

Pros: Long lasting, Comfortable, Waterproof, Warm

An Amazing pair of boots.
In the Air Training Corps and brought these boots to complete the 50 mile cosford march and so glad I did. Very waterproof and tested this thoroughly through a day walk where it threw it down. A good looking boot and look amazing with MTP and DPM CS95. Worth the money.
Pros: none
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels about right

Brilliant Boots!
Had a pair of these for about two years now & they still look as good as new. Done lots of hiking on rough terrain, Wales, Lakes, Dartmoor etc at various times of year & they have never let me down. As tough as... well, old boots. They come up lovely with a bit of a polish too. I am a shoe size 12 so on advice I ordered a 13 & they fit perfect. I know give them a waterproofing every time I take them out. I love these boots!!
Pros: Good looking boot, Tough, Waterproof, Comfy fit
Cons: Pricey, but worth it.
Would recommend: Yes

Raising the bar.
I do a lot of walking in mud, rocks, grit, tarmac you name it. I decided to look for a pair of boots that will make day to day walking less of a chore. I have heard these boots described as 'built like tanks, feel like trainers' and I totally agree. Lowa boots are the best boots I have ever tried. Worn them for 5 years now, been in streams, boulder fields, muddy hills and pounded hard ground and I have never had a single complaint about them. I thought they were expensive but with footwear, you get what you pay for and when the day eventually comes when they have been worn to the ground I'll defo buy another pair of Lowas. I can't speak highly enough of these boots. Great in extreme heat and cold, never once had really sweaty feet.
Pros: Only boots you need., Totally weatherproof, Comfy!!!, Quite stylish compared to others, Tough
Cons: Price but its worth it, Somewhat weighty
Sizing: Feels about right

Best ever
I do a lot of outdoor activities and so decided to go for a real quality pair of boots. As soon as I put them on I knew I had to have them, they were just the most comfortable boot I'd ever tried. They're great in the wet too and nothing gets through. Wish I'd bought these years ago!
Pros: Good solid boot, Completely waterproof, Very comfortable
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels about right
Would recommend: Yes
