Maglite's newest member of the family is the XL200 LED flashlight. This small torch really packs a punch and is suitable for forces personnel, security and civilians. Providing 172 Lumens of light, this is much brighter than the previous model offered by Maglite.
Ease of use has been made a high priority in the design of this torch. The different modes can be selected by clicking the tailcap and the brightness can be adjusted by simply rotating the barrel of the torch.
1 click puts the torch in high power mode providing the maximum light in an adjustable beam.
2 clicks puts it in strobe mode with regular high intensity flashes.
3 clicks selects the "Nite Lite" feature. The light gradually dims until very low. As soon as the torch detects the slightest movement it instantly switches to high intensity again.
4 clicks selects signal mode. A quick twist of the wrist activates the beam. Twist back again to stop the signal.
5 clicks puts the torch into SOS mode (3 quick flashes, 3 longer flashes, 3 quick flashes).
