A: It is a thinner material, but it is ripstop and packs down to a smaller size.

A: It's certainly big enough to fit around you and a wheelchair.

A: None of the poncho's that we sell are breathable but are 100% waterproof. We do sell breathable jackets with matching trousers that use Ab-Tex which is equivalent top Gore-Tex.
Q: Do the studs allow two to be connected to make a shelter?
A: In theory you might be able to do this, but it certainly wasn't designed to clip two together and is just intended to be worn as a waterproof cover. If you are looking for something to provide shelter, then you might want to look at the basha's that we stock.
