Heavier than Expected...
Have yet to cook on them but have watched someone do so before and well... he didn’t die or spontaneously combust or anything so I’ll assume it’s all good. Only things I can actually say about these at the moment (surreal though these comments may seem) is that each pack is a fair bit heavier than I expected, falls apart easily and smells vaguely like fish...
To explain: the weight is worth noting since most people will lug these around when camping. The cardboard pack falling apart is important to keep in mind since the last thing you want is solid fuel scattered liberally amongst your camping gear (ok so liquid fuel would probably be worse)... and they do smell a little bit like fish and I don’t know about you but I don’t want my sleeping bag smelling like a day old salmon.
Anyway, intend to stick them all in a separate bag and keep well away from camping gear, food, salmon seeking grizzlies etc...
Pros: Doesn't explode like gas
Cons: Smells of fish
Would recommend: Yes

Better than expected
I'd not used these before as I didn't think they'd be easy to light, or give off a lot of flame. But i was wrong on both counts. They lasted a good 7 or 8 mins each (enough for a brew up!) and it was a good strong flame. Wouldn't hesitate to use again
Pros: Lasts quite a while, Good flame
Cons: Can't use indoors due to fumes
Would recommend: Yes
