Heavy duty shorts
32" was too small for comfort, just. 34" that I bought is comfortable with a belt but this isn't the only trouser/shorts I have this prob with. plenty of pockets, fabric feels heavy, which is great as it's gonna take a battering.

I've been looking for shorts like this for almost a year now that would give me the same comfort, fit and durability that my old cut-off cargos did to take on a year long trip around the world. Just this week I've been through 3 crap orders from other sites for other brand shorts.
Unlike the other flimsy, ill-fitting shorts, these are heavy duty, well fitting and fall just below the knee; just how I like them. I usually wear a 30" and so placed an order for the same and the fit is perfect.
Can't fault em.

Perfect shorts for circuit training
I looked everywhere on the High Street for shorts like these .. robust, drawstrings top and bottom, plenty of pockets, just above knee height, cool look. Could I find any? Thank goodness for the interwebs and, more specifically, Mean and Green.
These shorts are perfect for working out. The cut is loose enough that I can practice kick boxing with a heavy bag without being restricted, but not so loose that the shorts look baggy. The waist drawstring means I don't have to use a belt (you don't want a metal buckle sticking in you when doing floor exercises) and the deep pockets hold my mp3 player. The urban camo design looks great and the material and stitching looks as if it should last a number of years.
Depending on the cut, trousers I wear vary between 30" and 32" waists (but mostly 30"). Another reviewer mentioned waist size, so I ordered the 32" shorts. They fit me perfectly. I'll tick "sizing is about right", but my normal size would have been just a bit tight.

Great pair

Great shorts
Ordered the us tri colour , very quick delivery next day. Shorts are so comfortable and look really good. Wanted the woodland camouflage but were sold out in 34 . Look as thoe these will last a long time well pleased.

Check your size carefully
These are excellent shorts, very comfortable, fit just past the knee and feel like there are built to last.
The sizes are tight though. 36inches for example is the measurement for the material used not the button position and as such if you're borderline between one size and another I'd recommend the larger size to be safe and use a belt.

Best shorts ever
I bought these a while ago now and they've been perfect since the day they arrived. Made from great quality material, very comfortable. I even use them for rock climbing because they dont chafe or pinch and they're even a bit strechy when they need to be. Brilliant product. I'll probably get another pair

I've owned a pair of these for 4 years and they still look as good as new. I seem to live in them in the summer months. They are 'heavy duty' but with that comes long lasting and rugged. Just ordered another 2 pairs and arrived 2 days later, so excellent service as well.

Better than the rest
Just bought some shorts for my hols coming up and just loved them straight away. I've always felt uncomfortable in shorts I've had previously, but straight away these were just a perfect fit and they look fantastic and unlike any others I've seen.

Great but big
When I received the shorts, i was excited. Great strong material. Very popular. What I didn't realise is, they would be long on me as I'm not that tall. Doesn't matter though because I wear them as 3/4's.

My fave shorts!
Bought a pair of the woodland camo ones for a holiday trip. Wore them non-stop the whole time I was away. When I got back I bought 2 more pairs in other colours. These are the most comfortable shorts I've ever owned. And they look pretty damn fashionable too! I highly recommend them.
