This genuine army issue MTP Jacket is the CS95 (combat soldier 95 pattern) issue and is meant to keep you warm and somewhat dry; while not waterproof the MTP Jacket is showerproof
Atop the MTP Jacket is a deep windproof hood with a wire framed front. The wire frame allows the hood to be set into any position that the wearer desire depending on the circumstances. When the hood is not needed it can be folded down and secured into place a button on the back of the neck.
On the chest of the MTP Jacket you will find four pockets; two sizeable external vertical bellows pockets with button closure and two equally large horizontal pockets that move internally and are closed using zips. Inside of the zipped chest pockets you will find easy accessibility angled pen holders. The two zipped chest pockets allow the user to vent out air (if too warm) without removing the MTP jacket.
Still on the front of the MTP Jacket but further down past the waist are another set of large bellows pockets that are button closure.
As this MTP is genuine army issue it has a rank tab on the chest and female velcro on each arm ready to accept a male velcro badge or blanking plate. Above the left arm velcro pad is a small embroidered British flag.
Moving down the arms of the MTP Jacket to the wrist more velcro can be found and is used to tighten the cuffs and keep the wind out.
Keeping the wind away from the body is what this jacket does best so much so that the zip has a storm flap cover that secures into place using velcro. To make sure that the MTP jacket is a tight and comfortable fit, there are drawstrings in the neck, waist and bottom of the jacket.
Being genuine army issue this jacket is made of durable and strong material that is going to stand-up to the demands that the wearer will put on it. For added durability the shoulders are also part-lined.
