The Tactical Combat Trousers are covered in Teflon (a non-stick coating) that makes the fabric water, oil and even dirt resistant. An amazing test of this is taking a bottle of water and pouring it over the trousers, and watching the water flow off without sinking into the fabric.
One of the other great features of the Tactical Combat Trousers is the Ripstop fabric throughout. This is a reinforced crosshatch pattern that contains any rips or tears to a very small area. Storage is not a problem with the Tactical Combat Trousers as seven pockets provide a wide range of options. At hip level there is a pocket at each side that have reinforced joints, giving them greater anti-rip resistance. Two easy-access angled rear pockets allow for quick 'dumping' of items and are secured via Velcro. At the side of the knees can be found a bellows pocket on each side, both pockets are large and are also secured with Velcro. The final pocket is above the left bellows pocket, and is a mobile phone pocket measuring approximately 5.5 x 13 x1.5 cm and can comfortably hold a number of modern smartphones.
Another nice feature of the Tactical Combat Trousers is the metal D-Ring that hangs from the waist line. A number of very useful things can be attached to this D-Ring with the addition of a small carabineer; such as keys, pen knife, small torch etc.
For those wanting to be very active with these trousers there are external knee pad pockets that allow the wearer to add a set of knee pads (sold separately). This allows the wearer to kneel down with comfort and without hurting or damaging their knees.
