Q & A's
Q & A's
Q: What is the true chest size of M65 multicam clearance jacket xl - size?
A: Measuring across the front from armpit-to-armpit it measures approx 25 inches. As it is quite padded it would be suitable for a chest size of around 44-46 inches.
Q: How does the weight/ thickness of the material in this jacket ( without the liner) compare with your vintage m65 jacket?
A: M65 jacket (without liner) weight approx 1.050kg Vintage M65 jacket approx 0.998kg The M65 is thicker than the vintage m65 jacket i hope this information helps.
Q: Please could you tell me the measurement in centimetres from the base of back collar to the bottom hem (excluding the collar) of a size (S) Small M65 field jacket? Thanks.
A: Excluding the collar it is approx 31 inches or 78.5cm
Q: Is the jacket 'machine washable' ?
A: The jacket is machine washable. The shell should be washed at 40 degrees and the liner at 30 degrees.
Q: Is this basically the "non-vintage" version of the M65 Regiment/M65 Infantry jacket? I like the style of garment but I'm not so sure about the "vintage" finish...
A: Yes, they are all based on the classic M65 style but this is a plainer "no frills" version.
Q: Is the hooded zip brass also?
A: The zip on the hood compartment is also brass the same as the main zip at the front.
Q: Is this jacket waterproof?
A: It is water-repellent (shower-proof) but not fully waterproof.
Q: I want to know if this jacket comes with a lining.
A: It has a detachable quilted liner.
Q: I have received this jacket and the sleeves seem very long, is this right?
A: They are intentionally long. The jacket is generally worn with the cuffs turned up. They can then be folded down during cold weather. The velcro tabs can also be fastened together for added protection against the cold.
Q: Is this a genuine M65 jacket made by Alpha Industries, or is it only a copy? Do you have second hand (grade 1 and 2 surplus) genuine Alpha Industries M65 jackets for sale or only the new ones?
A: This is a copy of the Alpha Industries jacket. We only sell the genuine Alpha Jackets in brand new condition.
